Krystal, there are think things and say things, that was a think thing. Story of my life. I think and I say what I think, which really , I guess, only works out right when you can write what you think and then see it and edit it for optimal effectiveness in delivering your thoughts so that they will be received.
I don’t understand the concept of people thinking things and keeping them to themselves. I can’t imagine allowing everyone else to have a say in the world around you, but you, not having your say. I don’t get it. I wish I did. But it makes me very uncomfortable to go along with the opinions of others without evaluating my own personal truth on the matter.
I am patient when it makes sense to be patient. I don’t see why everyone expects you to always be patient all the time. That’s how you end up in long term bad relationships. There are too many people in the world to get stuck on any one who doesn’t have your best interest at heart. For that one who doesn’t, there are millions and maybe billions more who do if you free yourself to find them.
I think speaking my mind, is a gift, as with any gift, there must be some personal responsibility. I am thankful l.
So with that being said, am I to speak my truth or hold my piece? When should I think things and not say them……or is it never appropriate to say the things I think?
Actually, when I don’t say it when I think it, I usually end up thinking it again later and with more intensity and wishing I had said it earlier before I allowed it to grown into a bigger issue of miscommunication, cause eventually it’s gonna have to be said if I want to address something that no one else has noticed to address.
People generally, run from the truth. My truth, anyway. When you pick beneath the surface folks freak out, cause touching their souls is sensitive if you aren’t used to it being touched. But I dig eye contact and follow up questions, I deal in truth, I pay attention and lies will be discovered if they present themselves to me. So instead of having true, honest to God, conversation and interaction, people feel attacked and as if I am being intrusive. What is intrusive about the truth?
So, I’m just stretching out my writing chops here, gearing up for the school year and the book that is forth coming. But I think this might be the introduction…..I am very interested in your thoughts and you co-writing and teaching and critiquing me as I write it, but tell me, do you say what you think or do you think and not say?

Last night's reading
Oaky, so last night ran across some new blogs and have added some of them to my reading list....check them out in my subscriptions if you can......I am learning the symbolism, so it's making more sense....eyes wide shut...a clockwork orange.....Stanley Kubric.......Type it in on wikipedia......stuff on mind control.....
Anyway they were talking about Marylin Monroe and how blonde hair stands for illumination...Aryians, And thats why Madonna, Christina A., Brit Brit, Bey and LayLo....and many other, invoke her image....they say that these are mind controled sex slaves....britney is always in a cage and RiRi's disturbia is disturbing.......
They say that's what was going on with brit and the hair dying and british accents...her programming was breaking down and she had to go to "promises" rehab to be reprogrammed......they say that what the celebrity rehab trend is about...re-programming.
But maybe that what's up with Milian and her blonde hair? If kelly rowland or J-Hud go blond watch out!
And...last but not least I wanted to mention Justin Timberlake....the Disney connection to magic and ciara's new sex kitten love and sex and magic.......Love is what they call their programming, she is sex, he is magic......the magic of disney....there was a quote from cici talking bout, Justin taught her how to hypnotise and audience and now she feels like she can transport them to another place and tease them.........WTF?

Todays Newzzzzz
I just watched Up and, of course, cried at the end......It was a really great movie....filled with symbolism and metaphors and so much blue.................
As I was finishing the movie my brother came in and asked if I was reading any good books, I said no, it has been a year since my last series, which was the #1 ladies detective agency." But I then had to realize I haven't finished a book in more than a year.
I informed him that I had been reading the same, "write for television book" in the bathroom for about two months.......I need to read some books.
I informed him of the comments that I had been leaving on the DC web and my brother said, be the change, make new music, give them healthy alternatives.
I spoke to him about the drama class I taught last week and about how great it felt to be with the kids again.
He asked me to volunteer with him tomorrow. I'm in.
He said we need to research Bob Marley and his ministry....we don't know much about rastafari.......
So, i'm really digging the lifetime show, "cook yourself thin." they snuck it in as an episode of Cybill on my DVR but i'm lad they did. I am now inspired to learn to cook for my family......

Went to church

Went to church on Sunday. this is what I got:
1. We have to pray for the return of the troops everyday. we also need to pray for stillness and comfort and peace in the hearts and minds of those troops that have returned to an unapprecitive country. They are a part of our family.
2. GOD is not an american...so stop giving him an american image or personality.
3. Democracy is not Christian.
4. There are 5 false idols America worships over God:
1. the god of prosperity
2. the god of pleasure
3. the god of government
4. the god of sports
5. the god of technology
Think about which ones you tailgate for and talk about with your friends and coworkers the most and keep on your calendar the most and spend most of your time in pursuit and praise of. It's not that those things weren't sent to us by GOD. they just are not GOD.
Imagine what the world would be like if you gave half the attention you give to these things to serving the one love that is was and always will be......

what you rappin for part 2

FIRST of all:
I went to church and Eddie was preaching about Genisis and about how we have been given dominion over the Airwaves.....the birds...the air.....and we need to be trustworthy with it.......many of us are not......more to come on that......
Second of all:
I had an Idea about the rappers that aren't saying shit. you realize rap is the continuation of an Oral tradition to pass down history and knowledge....maybe to inform the people who can't read for themselves or the children that haven't learned to read or think comprehensivley?
Well, i really could use some rap songs about the streets in a town....like a mapquest of rap....if you can't think about anything helpful to rap about then tell me all the exits in order on 285 and 20 and 75/85.......that's how I learned the books of the bible by heart and I am forever singing the song in my head. Simple, but very effective in it's purpose.
Third of all:
why would you want others to be as small minded and stupid as you? Study. Non of us can deny that education is the only way to come up in the world. Educate yourself and then educate others......
Just know that there is an oral tradition for people who have never walked in your shoes before, but why would you want them repeating and passing down your garbage?

What I love about my love

I LOVE DANCE. It is passion of mine. I could watch it all day. I could do it all day....well, I guess I do do it all day. Anyway, I don't really get off on performing it for an audience......I don't know why that is....haven't delved that deep into my reasoning, but i know I love the process of teaching, learning and rehearsing......so I guess I am in the right business.
- I like giving and getting constructive critisizm. Kids love getting and giving it too.
- Everyone in the room is either striving for or at perfection. you can't never practice it too
much. You learn to make a pattern of movements second nature....I love that!
- Everyone shows up with the same agenda..... to learn, to perfect.
- It's great meditation time. You don't even have to talk, performing a dance to music is like putting yourself in a trance......or it's trancendant.....between you and the rest of your cells and senses.
- I love the rush you get from figuring out how to do something you had never done before and then incorporating that into your being.
- I love the process....the teamwork....the one for all and all for one....you are only as strong as your weakest link and most folks can be taught it if they have a desire to learn.....some folks need more time to practice or more attention than others, but it is an obtainable goal.......
- One of my kids is hearing impaired....but when we dance....you can't tell the difference....she can watch and learn.....it's amazing......I love being able to put her on an even playing feild......."show me what you got lil' mama......"

I have had blogs apon blogs I have intentded to write. They have all melded into this one. I'm sharing my time and energy and attention with the rest of you people should you choose to accept it.
Quick Commercials:
1. I'm sold on the designer water. Fiji. I really like it. Or at least I have convinced myself that it's better.....than other bottled waters. When you carry it around you are advertising.......so call me spokesmodel :)
2. 102.5 in ATL.Grown Folks Radio. I'm hooked from 10 -3. It's an ongoing conversation with folks who care enough to listen to each other. I been calling into the show to talk to Al Sharpton who be "Keepin it real". I really like that he makes himself accessable for questioning of any kind. Kudos to AL and 102.5
3. Just went on a cruise. If you never been on the water....you need to go. period. I'm gonna move there. On a ship. Might as well pay them rent and enjoy clean rooms and 24hr pizza bars and the majesty of pure ocean and sky forever.
4. Tyler Perry's "House of Payne" Starts tonight. Watch it. At least one time.
5. Dahrma and Greg / Clair and Cliff / Jamie and Paul (Some of my favorit TV married couples)
6. Run's House - Great family entertainment
7. T.V. Blocks- If you have kids and they have a tv in their room......shame on you. If you have kids and cable and no channel blocking technology.......shame on you. Please Parent your children....No one said it would be easy.
8. BBC America/ Current TV/ Bravo/ History Channel/ Discovery/ Animal Planet......Please expand your views and accept your status as a global citizen.
9. Athiest should refrain from trying to get believers to take God out of any equation. That's just silly and redundant. " But imagine..." " But it's not possible"..."But what if...." "It's not an option...." " Just try.." "I can't...." " Take some responsibility for....." " All credit of all things belongs to the creator of all things. All I can do is experience....marvel...and thank.......There is never a time when I can't consider God."

Hesitant

You all know I am usually anti-holiday. I don't think they come from a sincere place. I don't think that complying to them is sincere.
I also make up rational for everything I think and do....so maybe my rebellion today has to do with the fact that I didn't go to church this morning because I didn't want to celebrate father's day. and didn't want to be around folks who were celebrating it.
I am hesitant to give in to the powers that be and recognize Father's Day. Everyday is Father's day for me. Everyday that I am alive is because of my mother and my father....sooooooooo.....picking one day to tell them that I appreciate it kind of signifies that today it means something, but yesterday it didn't and tomorrow it won't.
I think the best present I can give my father is to not spend his money today. to eat stuff from the fridge that he already paid for. Maybe even cook it myself. To clean the house that he pays for. To walk the dogs that he has afforded me. Maybe do my hair, cause he likes for it to look nice. But shouldn't I be doing these things in honor of him everyday?
My dad would appreciate a well thought out business plan. Or for me to go sit with his mother and father and keep them company for a while. But shouldn't I do these things all the time in honor of my father?
My father never rejects gifts and cards, but I know that he dosen't want or need them today. I know what he wants and what he needs from me. and unless I am doing that everyday....it seems insincere to bring up today that he is a good father who deserves to be rewarded for his investment into his children.
He should be reaping daily. They should be reaping daily. If I really cared this day wouldn't make a difference. Everyday is father's day....like everyday is christmas....like everyday is our birthday and the present is a present....get it.
