WEAVES, NAILS and LIP GLOSS
FIRST OFF......BOYCOTT BEYONCE AND THE FALLEN ANGEL SASHA FIERCE!Now on to my post.............I have never been one for high matinance. I am a lazy dresser, a comfort dresser and functional dresser. I like fabrics that feel good, styles that feel good and colors that feel good. I like my face clean, just a good wash and moiturize, I like my body clean, wash and deoderant. I'm not big on scents and body sprays and lip glosses, if I gloss, it's cause it's medicated and I want my lips not to be dry, not cause I want anyone to pay more attention to my lips.........That is just me though, I understand that some people take great joy on a daily basis in their ritual "dressing up" to face the world......I love to play with makeup and clothes and jewelrey and shoes, love to take pictures and play dress up....play...not all day everyday........If, as a performer, I am asked to play a character, then I take the makeup and hair and nails and every aspect of my appearance seriously, as to give a real performance of myself as another character......this kind of dress up I feel is a necessity when attempting to make the unreal...belieavable......I have never been one to want to impress people or get attention from people stricktly based on anything I have purchased. In this society, to blend in, you have to spend money......I get it.....you have to make money to spend money.....and you make money by spending money.....somewhere in their your willingness to "play" the game makes the game all more worth playing....... But in everyday life, are people just being characters and playing roles? Short hair one day long the next, how can you get to know one's character if they are constantly buying a new one? Green eyes one day, blue the next. Eyelashes one day at the mall, nails the next, hair next, shoes for height illusion and even butt and breat pads...........How can I take you seriously and be real with you when you are a walking talking deception and even if I don't buy it, others, all day long have been...........When I have worn make-up and hair.....I have been completley concious of it as a foreign substance on my body at every second.......I have never gotten used to it or embraced it as my own............but many do.......the media does....and pushes it.....promotes it.......the performers do.......the moms and teachers do........If you have hair issues and need to hide for a day or two........or you have health issues and you want to blend in........I understand and accept the deception....but if you just want me to get the outward projection that you got it all together because physically you bought it all together.......I don't accept that deception, and cannot take you seriously....seriously?
